A living being, being a part and parcel of the supreme lord, is spiritual and pure. But in spite of all this what is that thing which impels a man to do sinful act. The lord says,”it is lust only, which finally transforms into great anger. Like a great fire this is dangerous, realize that this is your enemy .Just as smoke covers fire and lust covers the mirror. So do excessive desires cover one’s mind and understanding and clarity.

By complete surrender to the god, mind will automatically become strong and even though the sense become very strong like serpents. They will be n o more effective than serpents with broken fangs. It is faith in god which is most important we should simply follow his instructions and that of this empowered as he has done like Krishna,Rama, Buddha ,Christ ,Nanak.

There are three ways of knowing god

There are three ways of knowing god- by performing duty or actions in a dedicated manner or by knowing him through knowledge. The third way is by having a glance of the god through devotion i.e. by becoming a devotee of the lord. We can become his devoted devotee even by serving his creation.

Your good or bad activities or thought are responsible for one's birth as a human being or as an animal or as a bird. Balance maintained in the account is looked after by the super soul (God).

Your good activities go to the credit side of the bank balance maintained by the super soul or param atma and bad activities or thoughts go to debit side of that account. It depends upon the individual soul (which is conditioned) to show a credit balance or a debit balance.

We have two souls in our body – one is Individual soul or Jeev Atma and the other Super Soul or Param Atma (god) which watches all activities of our individual soul or Jeev Atma.

The Soul

It is the soul in us which expresses itself through the instrument of our intellect to be an intelligent individual just as electricioty is the light to the bulb or heat in the heater or music in the radio or T.V. The soul ,which is a fragment of the Lord ,has accepted its affirnity with the body and the world.It is because of  this affirnity that there appears to be a third existence which is called "I" ness.This affirnity of "I"-ness is merely assumed and not real.But the soul by accepting it as real gets in to bondage.
